CNC Motion Controllers, General Motion Controllers and Other Control System Products

Virtually any system we deal with includes our CNC or General Motion Controllers and additional devices:

  • A set of servo motors and servo amplifiers (drives), either brush-type or brushless-type with the drives being either traditional analog type or the newer types which include a digital front-end (to the individual drive). Actek has designed our controllers to be compatible with virtually all of these types and because we have a very wide range of application experience, we have implemented virtually all of these choices. In addition, we have interfaced with almost every vendor of servos, both domestic and off-shore and have implemented servos from a few inch-ounces in size to as large as several hundreds of horsepower in size.
  • Many systems include spindles of various types and sizes. The types we have implemented include contactor type, d.c. motor/drive type, a.c. Variable frequency type, flux-vector type and PM servo types. The most common type a available today is the variable frequency type and we offer not only the drive products to implement these but an accessory interface product that allows us to control up to 8 VFD spindles in addition to the servo axis count in any particular controller.
  • All systems include both motion I/O devices (typ. EOT and Home) and general purpose I/O devices. As a service to many of our customers we supply most of all of the switch devices along with the cabling for them on the machine.
  • Cabling is offered, especially for drive/servo sets and for complete packages which are configured using our IScnc or PScncn configurations.
